Listen to Hatsune Miku V3 sing in English (Finally!)

To show off the vocaloid pop princess singing in English, the official Hatsune Miku channel has started streaming the song “Coming Together” by BSC a.k.a kuni.

(Read more about Hatsune Miku from SGCafe here).

Artist BSC a.k.a kuni stated that she created “Coming Together” to articulate her hope that “everyone is able to connect to each other through music”. With Hatsune Miku being extremely well-known all throughout Asia, an English version will help ensure that she becomes popular around the world.

Developer Crypton Future Media is working with Big Fish Audio to release Hatsune Miku English simultaneously as a retail package and as a download in the US by the end of the summer.

If you’re a die-hard Hatsune Miku fan, the complete package is a dream come true. It will include the English voice database (from Hatsune Miku’s original voice Saki Fujita), and allow you to edit the vocals with Piapro Studio. You will also get over 200 PreSonus instrument sound files, and Studio One Artist Piapro Edition digital music software.

So what do you think of Hatsune Miku’s English voice? Does her charm transfer to other languages for you, or does the English synthesizing voice fall short?
