The highly-controversial live-action movie adaptation of Yomi Hirasaka’s light novel and anime series Haganai: I Don’t Have Many Friends (僕は友達が少ない) finally has a theatrical release date.
Haganai: I Don’t Have Many Friends will open in cinemas in Japan February 1, 2014.
Unlike the anime series, the live-action movie’s story will not be based on the scenarios as depicted in the light novels of the same name. Instead, the script here is said to be an original composition.
