Beginning October 25, Namco’s chain of amusement arcades is running a promotional campaign in collaboration with the soon-to-be-released anime flick, Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movie Part 3, which hits cinemas in Japan October 26.
And yes, like the prevous Namco X A Certain Scientific Railgun S collaboration, umaibous are involved. Whether or not we’ll see more of those crazy gag advertisements for the new campaign, is a question that only time can answer.
In the meantime, if you’re a Madoka Magica fan who’s visiting Japan anytime between October 25 and November 26, make sure to stop by a Namco amusement center (Namco Namjatown counts as well) to claim a free postcard, and earn exclusive Madoka Magica A4-size clear files with every 500 yen you spend on a Madoka Magica crane game machine.
It’s a pretty good deal considering that most anime-themed A4 clear files go for around the 700 yen mark.
A4 clear files
These are the clear files Namco is giving out. Three of the designs will make their debut on October 25, while the remaining three will be given out beginning November 8, while stocks last.
They’ll give you a clear file for every 500 yen you spend on a Madoka Magica crane game machine, so as you might imagine, these things run out pretty fast — you might have to check multiple branches just to get the design you want.

These are the prizes you can catch in the Madoka Magica-themed crane game machines.
Three types in all:
- box set of 40 Umaibou sticks (comes with exclusive A4-size clear files packed within)
- Madoka Magica deluxe clear posters
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica SQ Figure ~Special Assort~ figures.
Free postcards
These are the Madoka Magica “soul gem die cut” postcards you can receive simply for showing up at a Namco arcade (1 per customer). Like with the A4 clear files, three of the designs will make their debut on October 25, with the remaining two made available only on November 8.
If you show up with a ticket sub for Madoka Magica the Movie (Part 3), you’ll also receive a bonus Kyubey die cut postcard.
Namco AM Navi raffle prizes
And these are the prizes you can raffle for if you fill up the registration form to be a member of the Namco AM Navi privilege programme. Registration (only in Japanese) is free.
