On Atlus’s Persona announcement livestream, currently being broadcast on Nico Video, the JRPG maker has announced Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for the Nintendo 3DS.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a brand new JRPG that reunites the main cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4 as they investigate the 7th mysterious wonder of Yasogami High School.
The game features a super-deformed character art style — even in the 2D illustrations — as opposed to the graphic style used for Persona 3 and Persona 4.
Interestingly, Persona Q will have two main leads: those from Persona 3 and Persona 4 respectively.
Depending on which lead character you pick to play as, the amount of interactions you’ll have with the Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast will vary.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is slated for release on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on June 5, 2014.
