As part of Sailor Moon‘s 20th anniversary celebrations, popular lingerie brand Peach John will be releasing some Sailor Moon-themed underwear which lets you “henshin” into one of the five Sailor Senshis.
The underwear brand has recently released new images of their new Sailor Undies, and this time, they are being modeled by one of Japan’s most popular visual models, Rei Yasui. She showed off the new Sailor lingerie namely the Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus costume bra sets, the Sailor Moon panties, and the Peach John (PJ) Sailor Moon PJ’s (Pajamas).
Rei Yasui is an exclusive model and director of the fashion magazine, Jelly. She has been featured in the magazine’s cover several times alredy and is quite well known in the Japanese fashion scene.
The Sailor Moon lingerie have generated a lot of attention in the internet when it was first announced with several Japanese celebrities like Shoko Nakagawa (Shoko-tan) providing reactions. Premium Bandai which handles the distribution of these undies has been sold out since the first day of reservation and have admitted they have been flooded with inquiries ever since. The pre-orders for these lingerie are still currently sold out, however, they will go on sale on February 19, 2014 and with its popularity, they are sure to sell out once again.
