It’s finally summer, which usually means fireworks will be lighting up the night sky. And as the season also introduces new anime, the Mikuni Fireworks Company is teaming up with P.A. Works’ latest anime, Glasslip whose premiere episode also involved a fireworks display.
All six of the anime’s main characters, Touko, Kakeru, Yukinari, Yanagi, Sachhan, and Hiro are featured in a poster for Mikuni’s fireworks display which will be held on August 11, 2014 at Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture.
The town of Mikuni in Sakai City, which the company is based on, was used as the model for the anime’s setting and as Glasslip’s first episode featured a summer fireworks display, it would only be fitting that the series’ main characters be involved in an event such as this.
