With the announcement of the anime adaptation of NisiOisin’s Tsukimonogatari and its New Year’s Eve premiere, Aniplex has released the anime’s very first PV complete with English subtitles.
With Koyomi Araragi’s narration, the video talks about Yotsugi Ononoki, a familiar who serves Yozuru Kagenui, and as expected, it reflects author NisiOisin’s famous word play. Tsukimonogatari contains Yotsugi Doll which takes place after the events of Hitagi End. It focuses on Yotsugi as the heroine and marks the beginning of the final season of the Monogatari series.
Oh Koyomi, that’s a face we can certainly trust, right?
Tsukimonogatari will have a total of four episodes, and all four will be aired on the same day starting 10:00 pm Japan time on New Year’s eve, which is December 31, 2014, via TV stations Tokyo MX, BS11, and Japanese streaming site, Niconico.
