Announced during the Mobile Suit Gundam 35th Anniversary press conference, Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin will explore some of the events before and during the original 1979 Gundam anime. And as the anticipation grows, the anime’s official twitter page has announced that Part 1, which will focus on a younger Char Aznable and his sister, Sayla, will premiere in selected cinemas in Japan on February 28, 2015.
The origin story of Char will be screened for a limited period of two weeks, from Feb. 28 – March 14, 2015. The twitter page also announced that the second PV will be released tomorrow, November 22. The first PV can be watched through this link
