November 5, 2004 was when Crypton Future Media Inc. released the very first Japanese vocaloid with an official avatar named Meiko. A decade later, Meiko is now one of the most popular vocaloid characters out there, and to celebrate, Sega has released a special Meiko medley video featuring the birthday girl.
The November update for Sega’s Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone will be adding this very birthday medley along with the song Nostalgic by Yuukiss.
Sega also greeted Meiko via one of their official twitter pages and even released several birthday wallpapers for PCs and smartphones. Now ain’t that nice of them?
