Looks like Naruto ain’t quite over just yet as revealed by creator Masashi Kishimoto during last night’s premiere of The Last: Naruto the Movie, which itself was revealed not to be the last Naruto movie.
On stage, Kishimoto unveiled that a new Naruto movie will be heading to Japanese theaters in August 2015 and it will focus on Naruto and Hinata’s son, Bolt, and Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter, Sarada. He said that he wanted to show Bolt’s fighting moves in the movie and added that he will be this new movie’s production supervisor.
Kishimoto also said that even though Naruto has already ended its manga run in Weekly Shounen Jump!, he still hasn’t rested a bit. Poor guy…
The Last: Naruto the Movie will make its Japanese premiere on December 6, 2014 and has been announced to also show in the Philippines on December 17, 2014. The manga officially ended last Monday, which is considered a bittersweet moment for fans.
