Revealed during Comiket 87, 5pb.’s latest IS: Infinite Stratos game, Love and Purge, has gotten fans of the series talking. And the upcoming issue of this week’s Weekly Famitsu Magazine has confirmed that the upcoming IS adventure game will be available for PS Vita consoles and will be released on July 30, 2015.
The game will feature all five IS heroines, Houki, Cecilia, Rin, Charlotte, and Laura, along with the Sarashiki sisters, Tatenashi and Kanzashi. According to the leaked information from Famitsu Magazine, the game will be set a few days after the events of the “World Purge” arc. Players will play as Ichika Orimura as he develops his relationships with the seven heroines.
Ichika must acquire “Brave Points” in order to deepen his relationships, and to do that, he must talk with them and be careful with what he says, because the Brave Points he acquires depends on how he treats the girls. He could also rack up the Brave Points by massaging the girls, however, if he messes up, he loses points instead.
Sounds like a typical visual novel game, huh? Well, this really sounds a lot different from their previous IS game, which is a fighting game called Versus Colors. Now, if only Ichika was not dense…
