With the season of spring almost in the air, Japanese convenience store chain, Family Mart, will be releasing a few limited edition goodies featuring the virtual diva herself, Hatsune Miku, along with her Vocaloid friends.
The campaign, called the “Hatsune Miku Spring Fair”, will be launched in all Japanese Family Mart convenience stores starting March 10, 2015. It will feature the vocaloid characters in several candies, beverages, ice cream, and other merchandise, including the Koumirai-chan candies which you can see in the image above. A new Mikkuriman chocolate wafer pack will also be released and just like the traditional Bikkuriman chocolate wafers, they will be coming with some stickers, only these ones will be featuring Vocaloid characters instead.
The Senbonzakura versions of Miku and Luka Megurine are also featured in some of Family Mart’s melon soda-flavored ice cream while several Vocaloid charms will come with 330mL bottles of Evian water.
Miku and friends also get their own gelatin cup desserts while the Len of the Kagamine twins gets his own grapefruit-flavored carbonated drink.
Finally, Family Mart will also be selling Vocaloid metal charms and straps. The straps cost 380 yen each while the metal charms cost 350 yen each.
