What do Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, The iDOLM@STER, and Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt have in common? If you answered that the character designs for all three anime series are actually done by the same guy, Atsushi Nishigori, then you are absolutely correct, and all three series will be featured in the famous illustrator/ animator/ character designer’s new artbook titled Telegenic!
Telegenic! is a collection of the works of Atsushi Nishigori, however, it’s release date was pushed back two weeks and is now scheduled to be released on July 16, 2015. However, people who have ordered through Aniplex+ get some good news out of the 2-week delay as they will be getting a bonus Gurren Lagann X iDOLM@STER crossover illustration done by Nishigori himself!
The illustration will be featured in a B5-size board and will feature Hibiki cosplaying Yoko, Yukoho cosplaying Simon, Takane cosplaying as Nia, Nia cosplaying as Takane, and Yoko cosplaying as Hibiki. Meanwhile, here is the artbook’s cover art
