The new sibling comedy anime, Himouto! Umaru-chan has finally premiered in Japan, and needless to say, many fans have fallen in love with the series’ seemingly “perfect” female lead, Umaru, who excels at sports and academics and is popular and beautiful.
In its premiere episode, the show depicts Umaru to have perfect grades in every subject, including English. However, there seems to be a huge error in her English test results as the answers to her “perfect scoring test” would make any Grammar Nazi (or English teacher) cringe
Luckily for Umaru, a fan, who does not seem to be from Japan, has took it upon himself to correct the animation staff’s English grammar mistakes. Here are Umaru’s “perfect” test results with the English grammar corrections
Well, that seems to be the downside to Japan as English really isn’t their first language. But then again, Umaru would still be “perfect” for many fans
