Fans would NOT want to live in these anime or manga worlds according to MyNavi Student

There are anime worlds where we would like to live in, like the world of Pokemon for instance, however, there are a few worlds that fans really do not want to live in, and Japanese media website, MyNavi Student has sought to find out what these worlds are.

The website asked 285 people and listed six anime series that some fans don’t really want to live in. Here they are:

Dragon Ball

ihgrhycwtne73hy3nv2d

With beings powerful enough to destroy a planet constantly being a threat, and add to that all the weird monsters living in the same planet as you, who would blame the people who chose the Dragon Ball world as the anime world they would not want to live in, right? Some fans also cited that there’s too much collateral damage and have commented that Earth is always threatened.

Attack on Titan

attack_on_titan

Do we even need to explain why? You live in a cramped space, and outside the wall, titans will eat you!

Fist of the North Star

fist_of_the_north_star_go_manga_anime_desktop_wallpaper-normal

Fans have cited that the anime’s post-apocalyptic setting provides little security for the people, not to mention all the bad guys out there who will harm innocent civilians…

Death Note

2100148-death_note_l__s_death_by_angrysmurflovescake

Fans definitely don’t want to get killed immediately because of the Death Note, while other fans have stated that the anime/ manga’s main protagonist lacks compassion too much.

Kaiji and Ushijima the Loan Shark

download

Ushijima-the-Loan-Shark

Fans have listed these two not because the reasons are they don’t want to get killed, but mainly because of a more realistic reason: MONEY. They just don’t want to owe a debt to shady loan sharks like Ushijima or lose big money like in Kaiji.

So there you have it folks, now which world would you not want to live in? For me personally, I think fans have forgotten one ultra violent world where death happens every time: BERSERK.

Square Enix and SNK finally settle their High Score Girl manga row legally

In what has been described as one of the ugliest gaming and manga legal cases in Japan, the High Score Girl manga row between Square Enix and SNK is finally over as both gaming giants agree to pursue collaborative opportunities together.

ƒnƒCƒXƒRƒAƒK[ƒ‹‚P_4c

The provisions of their settlement includes the following provisions:

  1. SNK Playmore will drop their criminal complaint against Square Enix

  2. Both companies will withdraw their civil actions against one another

  3. Square Enix can continue to proceed with the publication of the High Score Girl manga

So this means that we can finally get to continue reading Rensuke Oshikiri’s critically acclaimed and bestselling gaming manga set in the early 90’s when Japan is experiencing its arcade revolution.

news_xlarge_hsg2

SNK filed the complaint after discovering that the manga used several of its copyrights from various games such as The King of Fighters and Samurai Showdown without permission. This lead police to raid the Square Enix headquarters in Osaka.

Copies of the manga were recalled by Square Enix last week. Square Enix formally announced that the manga will go on temporary hiatus. An anime adaptation for the manga has also been green-lit and the publishers have said there were “no changes” in the plans to animate the series despite the fact that it is currently facing some legal troubles against SNK and the fact that the manga is being voluntarily recalled. The legal row between the two companies got even uglier when Square Enix filed their own counter lawsuit.

So, will this mean that the anime adaptation, which was green-lit back in 2013, would finally be back on track? Hopefully.

Sega teases new Hatsune Miku project with mysterious website

After previously announcing a new Hatsune Miku project earlier this month, Sega has opened a new teaser website, which many fans are saying is related to the virtual diva, Hatsune Miku.

mikumiku1

Then website only features the numbers 3939.00/3939, and is a countdown timer to 3939 minutes into August 31, 2015. But what exactly does this number have anything to do with Miku? In Japan, the number 39 can be read as “San-Kyu”, it can also be read as “Mi-Ku”, and the number has also been associated with Miku herself on numerous occasions.

Still not convinced the website has anything to do with Miku? See those colored threads waving about? Those threads represent colors associated with Crypton’s vocaloid characters, with aquamarine being associated with Miku, pink with Luka, the two yellow threads being associated with the Kagamine twins, red for MEIKO, and blue for KAITO.

The Irregular at Magic High School"s Tatsuya Shiba finally becomes playable in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax

After disappointing many fans by only being a support character in the original Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax fighting game, The Irregular at Magic High School have plenty to celebrate as the anime’s overpowered main character finally becomes playable in the game’s sequel, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition.

fci_01_cs1w1_590x

Originally, Tatsuya was released as a support character, but with Ignition, Tatsuya can be both a support and a playable character and bring his overpoweredness to the battlefield. In addition, his sister, Miyuki, will also be available as both support and main playable character. Now, if we can only get Maou Sadao from The Devil is a Part-timer to be playable too…

fci_02_cs1w1_400x

Aside from the new characters, this sequel game will feature a better balance between the characters as French Bread and Ecole will be tweaking the game while also adding a few new features, which were not available in the original release. Though the original game was eventually released for home consoles as well as getting an English localization, no word yet whether this sequel game will also be getting that home console treatment.
