During the Anime Girls Festival event held last weekend, Sanrio’s popular rhythm game-based anime, Show By Rock!!, was part of a special program called Girls Band Festival, featuring some of the show’s voice actors. There, they had two big announcements for the anime, one would be for an animated short series, the other being a sequel anime.
This was confirmed when the anime’s official twitter page posted from the event and announced that Show By Rock!! will indeed be having its own anime sequel and animated short, both of which will be animated by Shinkiba STUDIO COAST.
