In Japan, some anime are either too violent, too controversial, or too sexually explicit to be sharing the time slot with the more kid-friendly titles like Yo-Kai Watch, Doraemon, and Pokemon. These anime are often relegated to late night TV, when kids are most likely to be already asleep.
The Japanese website, Student MyNavi, recently ranked which of these late night anime deserves their time slot the most. The poll came up with the Top 10, which are comprised of:
10 – FREEZING
9 – Ladies Versus Butlers!
8 – Maken-ki!
7 – Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Don’t Exist
6 – Manyuu Hikenchou
5 – High School DXD
4 – Kanokon
3 – The Testament of Sister New Devil
2 – Seikon no Qwaser
1 – Yosuga no Sora
From twins making out to characters really having sex on scene, Yosuga no Sora takes the #1 spot in Mynavi Student’s rankings, and it deserves it too. How many in the list actually present characters making love with one another on screen?
#2 ranked Seikon no Qwaser meanwhile has the next best thing, which is of course the sucking of breasts, while #3 ranked The Testament of Sister New Devil pushed the term known as “lewd” to new boundaries. And then there are High School DXD and Kanokon.
