We are getting more KonoSuba, as the anime’s official twitter page has announced that we will be getting more of Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, and Michael Bay Megumin, as a second season for the TV anime has been officially green-lit.

The anime also ended its run in Japan last night, which capped off an unexpectedly successful run. The news was met with celebrations from the light novel’s illustrator, Kurone Mishima, who tweeted this image:
Kunosuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! is based on Natsume Akatsuki’s fantasy light novels about a hikkikkomori boy who suddenly passes away, and gets reincarnated into a fantasy world by the goddess named Aqua, who he forces to take with her against her will. Their quest is to defeat the Demon Lord, and they are joined by the explosive arch mage, Michael Bay Megumin and the masochist crusader, Darkness.
