Summer is surely heating up, and the second season of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma will surely heat it up, as a new key visual reintroduces us to the anime’s characters, which with the addition of Erina, feature the 43rd Annual Toutsuki Autumn Elections contestants.
It was also announced that the second season, also titled Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Second Plate, will premiere in Japan on 2 July, and will be showing a new episode for the Summer 2016 season every Saturday at 10:00 pm.
It will be a direct sequel to the anime, which premiered spring of last year, and will pick up where the first anime left off. It will continue with the manga’s Autumn Elections arc.
