The Spring 2016 anime season is now officially over, with some anime ending and some anime continuing on to the new summer season. Japanese anime news site, Animeanime.jp, has asked a total of 820 fans on which anime from the season is the one they think is the best. Here is what they had to say:
10 – Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto
9 – High School Fleet (Haifuri)
8 – Macross Delta
7 – Joker Game
6 – Assassination Classroom Season 2
5 – Flying Witch
4 – My Hero Academia
3 – Bungou Stray Dogs
2 – Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
1 – Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-
Unsurprisingly, two of the most talked-about anime this season has taken the #1 and #2 spots, with Re:Zero’s superb suspense and excellent pacing delivering it to the top spot over Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. Both anime have thrilled viewers with excellent storytelling, so it ain’t surprising that both have taken the Top 2 spots.
Meanwhile, Bungou Stray Dogs manages to wow a lot of fans, while My Hero Academia proved that its hype was totally deserved, as it landed at #4. Rounding out the Top 5 is Flying Witch, which really relaxed viewers and connected with the characters.
