The powerful-yet-often-wacky members of the crime-fighting organization, Libra, are back for a brand new anime, as announced by an advance copy of the latest issue of Jump Square Magazine has announced that Trigun creator, Yasuhiro Nightow’s popular supernatural action manga, Blood Blockade Battlefront.
According to the scan, the new anime season is titled Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, and it is slated to premiere sometime next year. The scan also announced a few staff changes, with the biggest one being Shigehito Takayanagi, the director of Dagashi Kashi, taking over the position of director for Rie Matsumoto. Bones will be producing the animation.
More announcements on this latest season of the action-packed Blood Blockade Battlefront will be revealed soon, so stay tuned for more announcements.
