Two of author Reki Kawahara’s most popular light novels are headed for a showdown with Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight. Now, the game’s latest PV has been streamed, and it features the upcoming game’s gameplay, as well as a taste of Kirito vs. Kuroyukihime.
The video also features the game’s theme song, which is titled “SxW -soul world-” by KOTOKO and Luna Haruna. The video also reveals that Ash Roller from Accel World will also be part of the game. The full game will feature over 30 playable characters, including Sword Art Online’s Lisbeth, Silica, and Leafa, as well as Accel World’s Lime Bell and Scarlet Rain.
The game is titled Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight, and it is scheduled for release ion March 16, 2017. It will be an action RPG, much like Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online games. Since Accel World happens 20 years after the events of SAO, it seems like the game will be crossing through time. More details about this new crossover game will be revealed soon. It will be released for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
