2016 is about to end, and as the current crop of Fall 2016 anime are about to reach their finales, Japanese anime character database, Charapedia, took a look forward into 2017’s very first anime season, which is Winter.
They asked 10,000 fans, 51.9% of whom were male, and 48.1% of whom were female, which upcoming new anime from the Winter 2017 season are they most excited about watching. A total of 44 upcoming anime were included in the poll, but only the Top 20 were announced, and they are:

2017 seems to be a huge year for Gintama, because not only will the live-action film be shown during that year, but there is also a new anime! The hilarious 4th wall-breaking samurai anime took the top spot in the rankings, beating out fellow season-favorite, KonoSuba in a battle between genuinely hilarious comedies.
As expected, the Top 5 were all occupied by sequels and spin-offs like Blue Exorcist and Fate/Grand Order, however, Interview with Monster Girls came close tom reaching that Top 5 spot, placing 6th.
