Magikarp are so awesome that they are even getting their own video game!
OK, all kidding aside, Magikarp may be the weakest Pokemon out there, but it’s definitely one of the most talked about. While people have made a ton of jokes about the fish Pokemon, the Pokemon Company has announced a brand new game titled Hanero! Koiking, which means Splash! Magikarp.
The Pokemon Company didn’t release much more details about the game, except for a teaser “newspaper article” about a fisherman finding two mysterious holes shaped exactly like a Magikarp.
Details are still scarce at the moment, so we still don’t know much about the gameplay or even if there will be an international release. It really does seem that they will be announcing more in the days to come, so stay tuned.
