BanG Dream! manga to be released in English for South East Asia by Shogakukan Asia

BanG Dream! is currently one of the most popular new titles currently airing during the Winter 2017 season. Now, fans in South East Asia can get even more band love thanks to Shogakukan Asia! This is because they will be releasing the BanG Dream manga in English for the region.

The manga version is part of Bushiroad’s latest multimedia project. It is written and illustrated by Mami Kashiwabara and follows the all-girl band, “Poppin’Party”. Shogakukan Asia will be releasing the first volume not only to South East Asia, but other regions as well, by the end of March 2017.

Kasumi Toyama has always been captivated by the “beat of the stars”. Since then, she’s been searching for something… a spark that’ll excite and thrill her! Following a trail of star-shaped stickers, she soon stumbles upon a Random Star guitar at her school mate’s house! Could this mark the start of something amazing? A sparkling, heart-racing high school life begins for Kasumi as she decides to form a band!
